Terms of use
These terms govern access to and use of this site. Use of the site constitutes acceptance of them.
Nature of the service
toooly-box is a set of free tools executed in the browser of the user. There is no account, no subscription, no registration and nothing offered for sale; accordingly no customer relationship arises in the ordinary sense.
Use of the site constitutes acceptance of these terms. A user who does not accept them should discontinue use of the site.
Status of the results
Several tools produce figures relating to pay, taxation and severance. They implement the published rules to the greatest accuracy attainable, and each states on its own page the matters it cannot take into account.
The results do not constitute professional advice of any kind.
- Not tax or employment advice the net salary, severance, withholding tax and VAT calculators are not the work of a chartered accountant or an employment consultant, and no professional relationship arises from their use.
- Not financial advice a loan instalment figure is an arithmetical result derived from the values entered. It does not constitute an offer, a quotation or an assessment of affordability.
- Variability of the applicable rules rates, thresholds and bands are determined annually and may be amended with retroactive effect. A page that was accurate when written may not be accurate when read.
- Verification before reliance where a decision has consequences, the figure should be verified against the relevant payslip, contract or bank documentation, or with a qualified professional.
Warranties and availability
The tools are provided as they are, without warranty that they are free from error, available at any given moment or fit for any particular purpose of the user. The site may be amended, tools may be added or withdrawn and the service may be interrupted without notice.
The undertakings that are given are set out in the privacy policy: the tools are executed in the browser, data entered into them is not transmitted, and each page states the matters the tool does not address.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for loss arising from the use of the tools or from reliance on their results, including any decision taken on the basis of a figure produced by this site.
Certain liabilities are not excluded. A clause excluding liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence would be void under article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code. Liability for death or personal injury cannot be limited. Nothing in these terms affects the rights of a consumer under the Italian Consumer Code or under the law of the country of residence. Where a provision of these terms conflicts with such a rule, the rule prevails and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
Permitted use and intellectual property
The tools may be used for any purpose, including commercial purposes. Output generated by the user belongs to the user: a QR code, a password, a formatted file or a figure produced by a calculator. No attribution is required and no licence is claimed over such output.
- Data entered by the user remains the property of the user. It does not reach the controller, and no rights in it could be asserted.
- Content of the site the text, articles, design and code of the site remain the property of the operator. Wholesale reproduction of the articles on another site is not permitted.
- Integrity of the service scraping that degrades the service is not permitted, nor is any attempt to compromise or overload it, or to use it to distribute unlawful material.
- Representation of the results the results must not be presented as certified, professionally verified or issued by a qualified person.
External links
The site carries no advertising and is not funded by any. Where a page links outward, the operator does not control that page, its content or its data protection practices, and the link is not an endorsement.
Amendments, governing law and jurisdiction
These terms were last amended on 2026-10-18. They may be amended; the date above states when they last were, and continued use of the site following an amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended version.
These terms are governed by Italian law. A user who is a consumer retains the protections afforded by the law of the country of residence and may bring proceedings before the courts of that place; nothing in these terms derogates from that.
The online dispute resolution platform of the European Commission, to which pages such as this were formerly required to link, no longer exists. Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 repealed the regulation that established it; it ceased to accept new complaints on 20 March 2025 and closed on 20 July 2025. The avenues that remain for a consumer dispute are the national alternative dispute resolution bodies and, where the dispute is cross-border, the European Consumer Centres Network.
